Mooresville Soup Kitchen

The Mooresville Soup Kitchen is a non-denominational Christian organization whose mission is to provide nourishing meals, fellowship and encouragement to those in need. They are the first stop for many who are in need and looking for direction and serve over 3,000 meals monthly from their location in downtown Mooresville.

 
Ways to get involved: Cook a meal, drive to assigned grocery stores to pick up donations, join the cleaning team, work on food sorting, distribution, or organizing.  Donate non-perishable food items.

Every day this organization goes through approximately 45 lbs of meat, 40 cans of the same vegetable and 40 cans of fruit.  Meats are donated by grocery stores but canned goods come from donations!
