A true historical treasure, Darshana Hall Plantation, with it's original brick house being built in 1753, is one of the oldest and largest plantations in the Southern Piedmont of North Carolina. The venue features a breath-taking 1818 mansion; a “Great Hall” with 23-foot ceilings, a gallery, three fireplaces and 17 columns; a Garden Courtyard; and an Italian Marble Gazebo.
Offering style, grace, elegance, and true Southern charm, Darshana Hall is a perfect location for weddings, family & class reunions, birthday parties, anniversaries, bridesmaids' luncheons, teas and showers.
Weddings:
Celebrate your big day in elegant southern style, getting ready inside the nearly 200-year-old mansion before walking across Darshana's East Lawn to your wedding ceremony where you will meet your Prince Charming under the classic four and a half ton Italian Marble Gazebo. Guests will be treated as royalty as they enjoy an outdoor Garden Courtyard reception with food & delicacies in the lavish Great Hall. Professional staff, directed by Keith Rhyne, Special Events Coordinator, will help to plan and execute the details of your event from start to finish.
Accomodating up to 400 guests outdoors from April to October and 100 guests indoors from November to March, the Plantation is available for weddings & events both big and small. And with the use of rented tents & the Great Hall, there's no need to worry about the unpredictable weather of the spring & summer months.

Events:
In addition to weddings, Darshana Hall Plantation is available for hosting indoor business meetings, parties and luncheons in the Great Hall for 50 to 100 guests depending on style. Family & class reunions, birthday parties, anniversaries, bridesmaid’s luncheons, teas and showers are among the celebrations enjoyed at the estate.
